To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to do the following:
  • Accountable for the development and achievement of sales to key accounts. Making and closing sales.
  • Determining, vetting, and collaborating with key accounts to accomplish and advance sales budgets.
  • Determine the most crucial needs of these key customers and finding solutions to ensure that they obtain what they need to grow their business.
  • Develop in-depth “business to business” sales relationships to secure new sales programs.
  • Create business proposals for new and existing accounts.
  • Deliver sales presentations, negotiate contracts and pricing in accordance with overall sales strategy.
  • Act as a key interface between the customer, field sales teams, and relevant internal departments.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of key marketing and merchandising elements for this dealer base.
  • Meet and train field sales teams to perpetuate the strategies and fundamentals of growing our Non – Slab Business.
  • Travels 50% nationally and/or internationally.
  • Perform other duties as required or as requested

  • Previous experience in key accounts, or national accounts strategic sales.
  • Exhibit confidence and foresight in soliciting new business and growing existing accounts.
  • Proven track record in developing and enhancing customer relationships.
  • Excellent social skills such as sales, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Exceptional planning and organizational skills highly motivated.
  • Personable, able to communicate clearly (both verbal and written), both with customers, as well as internal MSI departments.
  • Great listener, able to interpret relevant insight from various resources.
  • Strong competence of working effectively in complex multi-faceted settings.
  • Capable of working with multiple departments and influencing decisions towards a common goal.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point).
  • Knowledge of MSI’s product lines a huge plus.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:  

  • Bachelor degree (B.A. / B.S.) or equivalent from a four – Year College
  • Five (5) years of firsthand knowledge on sales, coupled with outstanding skills in maintaining complex and enduring customer relationships

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to do the following:
  • For providing strategic direction, return on investment analysis, management & execution of all merchandising initiatives.
  • They will work cross functionally with MSI merchants, sales, branch leaders and trend & design teams to determine optimal merchandising solutions.
  • This role will also be responsible for leading a team of over 25 warehouse employees to ensure all merchandising elements ship in a timely and cost efficient manner.
  • They will work with supplier partners to develop merchandising solutions that capture the essence of our product lines.
  • They will negotiate all merchandising projects and find cost out opportunities.
  • The Visual and Operations Merchandising Manager must have a passion for solution based  Merchandising, overall organization, a drive for achieving and reaching delivery dates, the ability to comprehend overarching issues, concerns, or problems through trouble-shooting and providing creative alternative solutions.

  • Own competitive analysis for all merchandising; identify voids in merchandising within MSI and in the marketplace
  • Working with  suppliers, customers and MSI associates to develop new merchandising solutions
  • Measure productivity (ROI) for all merchandising
  • Negotiate with supplier partners
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time
  • Manage workforce (labor hours) based on project workload
  • Manage cross functional partnerships to continuously improve the quality and function of merchandising.

      Qualifications Requirements:

  • Four year degree
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
  • Strong organizational skills
  • 7+ years of Visual Merchandising management creating new programs and effective delivery to the field with measurable results.
  • 7+ years of leadership and direct management of multiple teams with varied functions
  • Strong knowledge of methods, tools, and best practices in Visual Merchandising in the following areas– visual merchandising, fixture design/development, signage
  • Bachelor’s Degree required

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to do the following:
  • Reads shipping orders to determine quantity and type of transportation needed.
  • Responsible for cutting the tile and grouting display boards.
  • Pick/pack, and Shipping and receiving of merchandising samples.
  • In charge of operating the wet saw.
  • Assures that shipping counts match picking documents and assists in resolving discrepancies.
  • Schedules inbound and outbound freight to comply with warehouse operations.
  • Contacts carrier representative to make arrangements and to issue instructions for loading products.
  • Annotates shipping orders to inform shipping department of loading location and time of arrival of transportation.
  • Performs other clerical tasks such as typing and mailing bills, typing correspondence, and keeping
  • Operating the Forklift.
  • Responsible for unloading containers, bulk stacking and rack replenishment.
  • Performs additional duties as required and or requested.
Additionally the candidate must meet the following education and experience requirements:
  • 1-2 years of shipping and receiving experience.
  • Forklift experience required
  • Knowledge of using computer or tablet required.
  • Ability to lift 40-60 pounds regularly. Ability to lift 80-100 pounds occasionally.

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to do the following:
  • Responsible for assuring all shifts and functions are properly staffed to execute varied work volume, manage flow of orders to the floor to optimize operation for approximately 25 employees in a 70,000 square foot facility.
  • Must be proficient in using analytical tools (database, spreadsheets, etc.) to manage productivity.
  • Develops, maintains and manages facility quality process.
  • Ensures on-time shipping performance, works closely with supervisor and Marketing and merchandising team to ensure shipments meet standards.
  • Manages daily/weekly/monthly quality and productivity reporting.
  • Supervises realignment activities to ensure maximum optimization of the facility.
  • Manages operational activities to ensure DC layout and continuous improvement activities support goals of the operation.
  • Provides direct supervision to the shift supervisor. Holds them accountable for their performance and the performance of their teams.
  • Provides Leadership, training, and supervision to 25 team members.
  • Continuously works towards increasing the leadership capability of the team and drives professional growth.
  • Responsible for all facility/equipment maintenance and supplies.
  • Responsible for maintaining a safe working environment and overseeing safety compliance.         
Additionally the candidate must meet the following education and experience requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree with emphasis on Logistics or Operations Management Five (5) to Ten (10) years of specific relevant work experience.
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of supervisory/management experience.
  • Must have supervised at team members.
  • Must have 5 years of Distribution Center Operations experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite - Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
  • Capable of presenting operational data to the business and leadership team.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive cultural change while improving efficiencies and processes.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Distribution and Warehouse Management applications.
