To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to do the following:
  • Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.

  • Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly.

  • Reviews market analysis to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates.

  • Directs staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales program.

  • Directs channel development activity and coordinates sales distribution by establishing quotas and goals.

  • Advises dealers, distributors, and clients concerning sales and advertising techniques.

  • Coordinates activates of sales staff within the group.

  • Analyzes sales statistics to formulate policy and assist dealers in promoting sales.

  • Directs product simplification and standardization to eliminate unprofitable items from sales line.

  • Represents company at trade association meetings to promote products.

  • Delivers sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales representatives.

  • Meets with key clients, assisting sales representatives with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.

  • Coordinates liaison between sales department and other sales related units.

  • Assists other departments within the company to prepare manuals and technical publications.

  • Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.

  • Directs product research and needs of a product within a given region.

  • Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition.

  • Performs additional duties as required and or requested.

Additionally the candidate must meet the following education and experience requirements:
  • Must have industry experience in retail dealer business.

  • Must have previous experience managing sales representatives.

  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, percentages, area, and volume.

  • Ability to multitask within the work area – inter team and intra team.

  • Proven ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, percentages, area, and volume.

  • Demonstrated aptitude for problem solving, and ability to determine solutions for customers.

  • Must be results-oriented and able to work both independently and within a team environment.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office – Outlook, Work, Excel, and PowerPoint.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

 

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) or equivalent from a four-year college or two to four years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 5 years in related field or equivalent experience.

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to do the following:
  • Develops relationships with current customers and potential customers within specific territory
  • Assist customers by providing knowledge and training company products to their store personnel, to ensure personnel is able to present product and negotiate well with consumers
  • Understands our products, our market competition and how to position products to overcome these factors
  • Manages displays, samples, and selling tools for customer availability.
  • Understands retail business financials to consult with dealers on retail pricing, advertising, promotions and ROI.
  • Quotes prices, discusses credit terms and prepares sales contracts for customer orders
  • Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of company’s delivery schedules.
  • Review and analyze various sales reports to identify sales potential with current customers and potential new customers
  • Utilize any and all marketing tools such as catalogs, brochures and vendor collateral to broaden reach in territory and promote company product
  • Researches and analyzes customer needs and demands based on market information
  • Investigates and resolves customer claims/problems with deliveries, returns and credits
  • Attends trade shows throughout the year as required
  • Travels 40% - 80% locally, occasionally nationally and/or internationally.
  • Performs additional duties as required and or requested.
Additionally the candidate must meet the following education and experience requirements:
  • Strong math skills calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, percentages, area, and volume.
  • Strong Commercial Sales experience is required
  • Ability to determine solutions for customers.
  • Must be results-oriented and able to work both independently and within a team environment.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Valid driver’s license 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred. H.S. Diploma Required.
  • Two (2) plus years’ preferably previous Slab Sales experience.
  • Minimum 2years of related industry experience, Quartz, natural stone, tile, Slab, Countertop and/or flooring Sales Experience.

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES: 

  • Demonstrated aptitude for problem solving
  • Excellent oral and written English language communication skills
  • Provide high level of customer service
  • Good organizational skills
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to do the following:
  • Performs shipping and receiving; reads shipping orders to determine quantity and type of transportation needed.
  • Ensures the accuracy of all shipping documents, gathers, and maintains all data relative to shipping activities.
  • Collects all documentation for outboard freight and routes to the proper record keeping unit.
  • Pick orders for shipment and assemble various types of merchandise to be shipped.
  • Operates equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Equipment to include (but not limited to), forklifts, overhead cranes, and pallet jacks.
  • Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work environment.
  • Keep an equipment checklist and perform preventative maintenance of equipment.
  • Performs additional duties as required and or requested.
Additionally the candidate must meet the following education and experience requirements:
  • High School Education required.
  • 1-2 years of Warehouse experience
  • One (1) year of experience operating a Forklift

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:

  • Able to use a computer or tablet a plus
  • Excellent oral and written English language communication skills
  • Provide high level of customer service
  • Must be able lift up to 70 Lbs.
  • Must be willing to work 2nd shift and weekends.
