To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to do the following:

 

  • Effective and efficient handling of customer transactions.
  • Accurately record and maintain customer contact information and details.
  • Build and maintain company customer relationships.
  • Answer inbound sales calls and make outbound sales calls.
  • Consistent following up on promises and commitments in a timely manner with customers.
  • Track stock levels to ensure customer orders are handled effectively.
  • Assist customers in determining order requirements or services.
  • Appropriately identify and escalate customer issues.
  • Quote prices and credit terms, and prepare sales orders for customers.
  • Complete sales transactions and processing of payments.
  • Schedule trucking and delivery of material to customer, based on delivery schedule.
  • Create shipping order and packing list.
  • Troubleshoot customer issues during delivery process.
  • Partners with Sales Representative to keep account transactions and literature up to date.
  • Practice Customer focus, collaboration, and communication with team
  • Retains up to date knowledge of company products
  • Performs additional duties as required and or requested.
Additionally the candidate must meet the following education and experience requirements:

 

  • Excellent oral and written English language communication skills
  • Provide high level of customer service
  • Good organizational skills
  • Proven ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
  • Demonstrated experience with the use of PCs, along with the ability to navigate in a multi-window based environment.
  • Intermediate skills in MS Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
  • Must have both face to face, and phone customer service experience.
  •  Shipping and Receiving experience is a plus. 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Education Required
  • Minimum 2 years’ customer service experience
  • Experience in Accounting is a plus
  • Some college work completed preferred

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to do the following:
  • Reads shipping orders to determine quantity and type of transportation needed.
  • Responsible for cutting the tile and grouting display boards.
  • Pick/pack, and Shipping and receiving of merchandising samples.
  • In charge of operating the wet saw.
  • Assures that shipping counts match picking documents and assists in resolving discrepancies.
  • Schedules inbound and outbound freight to comply with warehouse operations.
  • Contacts carrier representative to make arrangements and to issue instructions for loading products.
  •  Annotates shipping orders to inform shipping department of loading location and time of arrival of transportation.
  •  Performs other clerical tasks such as typing and mailing bills, typing correspondence, and keeping
  •  Operating the Forklift.
  •  Responsible for unloading containers, bulk stacking and rack replenishment.
  •  Performs additional duties as required and or requested.
Additionally the candidate must meet the following education and experience requirements:
  • 1-2 years of shipping and receiving experience.
  • Forklift experience required
  • Knowledge of using computer or tablet required.
  • Ability to lift 40-60 pounds regularly. Ability to lift 80-100 pounds occasionally.

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to do the following:
  • Develops relationships with current customers and potential customers within specific territory
  • Assist customers by providing knowledge and training company products to their store personnel, to ensure personnel is able to present product and negotiate well with consumers
  • Understands our products, our market competition and how to position products to overcome these factors
  • Manages displays, samples, and selling tools for customer availability.
  • Understands retail business financials to consult with dealers on retail pricing, advertising, promotions and ROI.
  • Quotes prices, discusses credit terms and prepares sales contracts for customer orders
  • Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of company’s delivery schedules.
  • Review and analyze various sales reports to identify sales potential with current customers and potential new customers
  • Utilize any and all marketing tools such as catalogs, brochures and vendor collateral to broaden reach in territory and promote company product
  • Researches and analyzes customer needs and demands based on market information
  • Investigates and resolves customer claims/problems with deliveries, returns and credits
  • Attends trade shows throughout the year as required
  • Travels 40% - 80% locally, occasionally nationally and/or internationally.
  • Performs additional duties as required and or requested.
Additionally the candidate must meet the following education and experience requirements:
  • Strong math skills calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, percentages, area, and volume.
  • Ability to determine solutions for customers.
  • Must be results-oriented and able to work both independently and within a team environment.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Valid driver’s license.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Two (2) plus years’ experience in channel distribution sales.
  • Related industry experience preferably Slab Sales Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of related industry experience; natural stone, Quartz, tile or hard flooring industries.

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:

  • Demonstrated aptitude for problem solving
  • Excellent oral and written English language communication skills
  • Provide high level of customer service
  • Good organizational skills

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to do the following:
  • Responsible for loading and unloading Granite, Stone and Quartz Slabs, adequate training will be provided.
  • Assist sales associates and visiting customers
  • Assure for the quantity and quality of the outgoing orders
  • Pull slabs from the warehouse from the slab orders provided
  • Move slabs to loading areas by using overhead cranes
  • Load slabs on customer’s vehicle/truck
  • Ensure that product is well secured on vehicle/truck and takes all necessary safety measures
  • Unload slabs from containers using forklifts
  • Arrange slabs properly by forklift/crane in Slab Warehouse
  • Responsible for maintaining the slab warehouse clean and safe for staff and customers
  • Performs additional duties as required and or requested.
Additionally the candidate must meet the following education and experience requirements:

 

  • 1-2 years of experience
  • Forklift, crane and warehouse experience preferred
  • Ability to use Smart Phones/Tablets
  • Good communicate skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to do the following:
  • Responsible for the promotion of the MSI Quartz products.
  • Visits builders, architects, designers, kitchen dealers for the purpose of promoting the products.
  • Performs product knowledge seminars at the customer’s location.
  • In charge of training the customer’s sales force on MSI product lines.
  • Accurately maintains customer database and generates sales reports as needed.
  • Attends trade shows, conventions, and other onsite seminars.
  • Consistently works with existing customers to retain and increase their business.
  • Coordinates with customers to maintain appropriate quantities of promotional materials.
  • Increases brand awareness through strategic placement of advertisement.
  • Performs additional duties as required and or requested.
Additionally the candidate must meet the following education and experience requirements:
  • Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, self-starter, sense of urgency, personable, extroverted personality, well-organized
  • 2 years of retail merchandising experience preferred

  • Problem-solving skills with the habit of being proactive
  • Intermediate skills in MS Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Previous experience using ipads, iphones or smart phones would be helpful
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends, evenings and holidays
  • Willingness to travel, up to 50% of travelling required
  • High school education required; some college work completed preferred.
